Got tickets?

image1pkc.jpg

That's the seating chart at the moment, for the biggest and best cinema in London (where the premiere was). In theory it should be the busiest one, and the place everyone will want to see it.

The pic above is for Friday 8th, at 8.45pm.

I hope it fills up more :(

I fucking hate you right now.

But seriously, how good is the picture and sound there?

What did I do? I don't work at the cinema, that's available to view online.

Picture and sound are fantastic, it's the best cinema in London really. Simon Pegg was praising the sound at the Premiere on tv apparently. A fair few films shown at the Empire are shown as a digital projection, in other words, perfect picture. I'm not sure if ST will be, but fingers crossed :)

Much more comfortable than the Odeon Leicester square which may hold more people but is unbelievably uncomfortable.

Yup I bought the IMAX tix at AMC Lincoln Ctr in NYC for Thur 10:30pm! Surprisingly the tickets are not sold out yet. I probably will have to wait in line 1 hour before as well to get good seats.

my friends and i got our tickets the first day they were available weeks ago about ten minutes after the box office opened. the girl at the box office said that it was almost sold out already for the 7pm showing!

I'm just envious at little Brittan getting a theater that would be oversized in Pittsburgh. No worries. ;)

Okay, I'm going back to hating you guys now. :p

I'm all set for Thursday night, Edwards IMAX in Mira Mesa at 10 PM... bitches. One of the things I miss about living in Los Angeles is the assigned seating at most of the theaters, especially the IMAX ones. San Diego has yet to catch up.

Just bought mine online for the 7pm show on the 7th. I'm actually surprised that my local theatre has it opening on the 7th - but I'm not complaining :)

My friend has already bought the tickets for me and the rest of us that are going on the 7th at 7pm. I still need to figure out when I can make the hour and a half drive to the nearest IMAX for my second (or third) viewing...

I got tickets for my friend and me for May 6th at 8 pm, bought them last Friday.
I plan to go with a group of friends on May 7th, but the tickets aren't on sale, yet.

I have my tickets for 19:00 on Thursday.

It's going to be an ol' skool date with my wife . . . the kids are staying home!

Yup. Thursday, May 7 at 9:50. Had the option to see it at 7:00, but figured going at 9:50 would avoid anybody in the younger demographic there with parents.

It's funny how paranoid you can get when planning something like this out. After waiting for so long, you just want it to be perfect...

Got my tickets for May 7th at 9:55pm for the IMAX showing here in Houston at the MarqE...not the best theatre, but still stoked

I got tickets for 10pm Thursday. I would go to the 7pm one, but I want time to eat dinner. I'll probably watch the IMAX version on Friday.

"Little Britain"?

I am pretty sure London is a bigger place than Pittsburg - wherever that is.

Isn't that the home of Kurt Angle?
Kurt Angle is indeed from Pittsburgh, which is in western Pennsylvania. It's pretty big, but London is bigger and way older. I'm pretty sure that USSMariner was just teasing, though.
