In all seriousness, be very respectful of the King of Thailand. You will see photos of him and his wife everywhere. In stores, on the side of skyscrapers (as big as 50 feet tall in Bangkok), in hotels and malls. Don't damage or mock the photos. Don't ask silly questions about the King, tease or make jokes. Citizens will be easily offended to the point of rage, and in the bleakest case you could be jailed and caned.
P.S. Watch The Hangover II and learn what not to do.
You should go Phuket when you get the chance. NIce beaches...and great food! The Temple of Emerald Buddha is great to... It use to be a place of worship of the royal family. You know, Northern Thailand is also great. You can go on a elephant ride and enjoy the scenery.
