At this point if it were going to premiere in January, they'd have announced a date by now. Though the same is true if it were going to have a February premiere. Indeed, all those premiere dates (with the exception of the two which were midseason premieres) were all officially announced in the preceding October.
Hmmm. Hopefully they don't try to stretch what "Early 2024" means...
Someone's going to ask, "Why would they?" Because Disco's probably the only live-action Star Trek they'll have in 2024.
Not if Strange New Worlds pulls some Houdini stuff and does post production after each episode is done shooting. I mean apparently they’re going to be shooting for the next seven months so they could pull some miracle and have it air by late 2024

Why is Tilly there I thought she left to go teach at the Academy? I love Tilly but thought she found her footing at the end of season 4 and moved on.
Season 5 could take place during Summer Vacation. This is like Worf being in the TNG Movies even though he was on DS9. And who says, "I don't want to see Tilly!"? Just go with it.

IDK about that. In Canada, it wasn’t until like a week to airing that tv ads were ran for PIC S3 airing on CTV-Sci-Fi channel.
Its completely conceivable they wait until the last week of December or the first week on January to do anything.
That was just a means of working around Mary Wiseman's schedule, which because of the pandemic causing delays all across the board and with all the associated rescheduling, she was unavailable for the majority of time season 4 was filming. That's obviously not the case with season 5, hence Tilly is back.
The date was still publicly announced in October 2022, the fact CTV Sci-Fi waited until the last minute to include that date in their commercials is immaterial to the point. Especially since we now know Disco S5 is coming in April instead of January or February which had been speculated at the time I wrote that post.
Imagine that, that they do that on that date and we get an actual alien arrival.
Is it just me or do those creatures look a lot like the Monster from the Id in Forbidden Planet?
