Summary of the Link: They added an epilogue to the end of the finale, so it would serve as a series finale. So, it looks like nothing was changed about what was shot earlier.
EDITED TO ADD: Reading between the lines, we'll also see more of the Saru/T'Rina romance and how that blossoms.

T'Rina has been such a great addition to this series so I'm excited for that. I just found out about this Georgeau epilogue a few days ago (I'm honestly trying to avoid spoilers but that might be difficult) so maybe that sets up the section 31 thing.
As for when this premieres, I hope it's late April. I'm planning to rewatch the series and would love the extra time to get it all in. I was going to watch the series now, but then Resident Alien decided to announce a premiere date that was really close and I needed to get caught up with that one first.

I was just speculating, meaning nothing is set in stone. My first thought hearing about this epilouge from Georgeau was if it sets up the S31 movie or not. It probably doesn't. I do hope it finally answers the question where did she go when she walked through the Guardian of Forever.

Yeah, the epilogue is mostly to give Disco closure. It's possible it might also set up for the Academy series, but it won't have anything to do Georgiou or Section 31.
Again, just what are you talking about? I think you need to re-read the article. Or link to some other source that says Georgiou will play any part whatsoever in the series finale.
I think a lead-in to SFA or a flash-forward to several years later is more likely. It'll be CRAZY if they tie into "Calypso", but they probably won't do that. It's what I'd do, though.

Maybe I read the Georgeau thing on Reddit and ran with it. I guess there was no such thing and I'm sorry for the confusion. As for accidentally getting into something, I've been hurting all weekend (Right ribcage area) and it's been really uncomfortable.
I still want to go into this season mostly not knowing what is going on. I'm glad the Saru/T'Rina relationship will continue and I hope it's a good final season. The Trailers really haven't given us much, which is good I guess.

This is a bit of an aside, but on Facebook I got a post from a Trek fan forum suggested to me with an early Season 1 picture of Tilly. An incredible number of commenters expressed disbelief that the picture was not 'shopped/otherwise altered, because of Mary Wiseman being thin at the time.
To be clear, I am not saying there's anything wrong with Wiseman at any size. If she was formerly doing the common young Hollywood actress thing of starving herself to get roles, more power to her for not having to do it any longer! I just think it's interesting that her Season 1 appearance has apparently been memory holed by a lot of folks.

I think its interesting that a fan base not exactly known for athleticism and being body conscious feel they have the right to body shame anyone.
Body shamming is easier than making personal changes, right?
