I'm convinced that people like Doomcock are actually fans of the show and are just playing a role for views. I can't fathom that he (or anyone really) could hate something to the extent that he does unless it was personal. Like Kurtzman constantly bullied him as a kid or pissed in his cereal.
If DSC Season 5 was the final season, they'd have already told us. They want all the focus to be on Picard Season 3 right now. They'll probably have a new trailer close to the start of the actual season. Though there won't be the same level of hoopla as there was with SNW Season 1 (introducing a new series) or PIC Season 3 (reuniting the entire TNG cast).
Honestly, I think this is closer to the truth. I get that hate is a fun thing to use for clicks, because anger generates a lot more attention. But, I think it comes down to power and control. The angrier he is the more views he gets.
