Finally started S4 of Disco, thanks to P+ being $2 for 2 months. Quite enjoyed the first episode; hope it maintains that level.

Just received my S4 blu ray from Amazon.com, and I am kinda disappointed that it does not come with a cardboard slipcase like all previous US Star Trek releases…. Does anyone know if the UK version does come with a slipcase..?
SNW is almost certainly coming immediately after Picard, just like last year. After that, it's anyone's guess. My theory is they'll take a break after SNW finishes, than we'll get Lower Decks in August like we always do, and then Disco S5 will come after Lower Decks. Though I'm operating under the completely baseless belief that we're waiting until sometime in 2024 for Prodigy S2. If I'm wrong about that, then that knocks my theory completely out of whack.
I haven't really jumped into any of the other threads here on season 4 as I just binged it over the weekend. I have to say it's leaps better then season 3 and I liked most of season 3. I actually enjoyed season 4 quite a lot and loved the whole buildup with the DMA and Book's naughty adventures with crazy boy. I'm half inclined to think crazy boy was just a loon and he was bullshitting about the whole parallel world thing and maybe had been the victim of a prior run in with the DMA and this was just his vengeance playing out. I love ZORA and love how they finally came to a decision on her and how she can join Starfleet, well that's how I read that so they have their first truly autonomous living spaceship in the Federation now. I hope they can expand on this and build on her more. I liked the idea of where they were going with the sphere data and such, and now that we have Zora in the flesh so to speak let's see more. Overall 7 1/2 out of 10 I loved it
Some of these ideas might have made the earlier Disco season more interesting. Particularly jumping into the neutral zone and needing to keep it out of Romulan hands. And that Starfleet sponsored its development it a century ago i.e ENT era.
