The Klingon ship names were developed by Kirsten Beyer with help from their Klingon Language consultant and JVC

Worf also spent time on Q'onos with some Klingon cousins after the Rozhenkos adopted him where he performed various Klingon coming of age ceremonies and declared his intent to become a warrior. So it wasn't just the Rozhenkos who taught him about Klingon culture, there was some direct family influence as well.

We also have to remember that Worf was five Earth years old when he was adopted. When his son Alexander was five Earth years old, he looked like he was over 10 and had already had all his adventures (and a little Klingon training) on the Enterprise. Two years later, he would be enlisting in the Klingon Defense Forces.

So, five-year-old Worf was probably a big guy and should've been well-versed in Klingon culture. He could've probably bought an apartment and sworn a Romulan blood oath at the time, rather than deciding to be roommates with some random noncom and Paul Sorvino.

Not Discovery related but just found this on Youtube and had to share. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time...

I am glad you said that it's not Discovery related!

Sometimes it helps to look at things upside down...

Sorry.:sigh:
That reminds me of a Cheers episode.

The bar decides to raffle off a vacation trip by picking numbered ping-pong balls. Woody pulls one out, and it's number 99. The person who has 99 begins to celebrate until Woody turns the ball upside down and says "or maybe it's number 66", at which point the person with 66 celebrates. Commotion ensues.

Rather than Sam needing to give two trips away, the two winners decide it would be OK to re-pick. Woody then picks ball number 11, and the person with number 11 begins to celebrate. Woody then turns that ball upside-down and says:

"Oh no! Here we go again!"

:guffaw:

So any thoughts as to when season 3 will be announced?

I expect it will be a little before or a little after the season ends. I have a feeling it was announced early last year because of a combination of the Netflix payout and the rampant nerdrage to quell that a bit. With subscriptions up well ahead of projections, I see no reason for CBS to delay an announcement any longer than a few days after ep 14 airs.

I think it was before Sam got his bar back so it was really Rebecca (aka Backseat Becky) who was in deep doo-doo ... :D

Sam was just an employee at the time so he couldn't care less...

(I am a big fan of Cheers)

Most other shows I've watched have their new seasons announced shortly after the current one finishes.

Random, but I see CBSAA now lets you download the episodes this season. That's nifty for those who regularly experience streaming issues, depending on how folks are viewing, anyway.
