For some reason, I am reminded of Stargate.

No. The only time they're even in a scene together was when Spock was rambling the Vulcan Doctrines of Logic and Sarek confronts Michael and Amanda about hiding him.

Yeah, Though the writers may take some liberties with canon, they’ve been pretty consistent with not having Spock and Sarek speak to each other. We’ll probably not see James Frain at all in SNW, as they’ve only brought in Amanda so far.

You could compare other designs with these throughout history. Why start there? There are lots of designs from the scifi common language or tropes.

So I just noticed that on Monday nights they air the newest episodes of HALO, after their initial streaming date on Thursdays. That strongly indicates they’ll air S5 episodes Monday evenings. They’ve been airing S4 episodes every Monday night, right now with “All is Possible” and “The Examples” back to back. So they really do seem to be building up to the new episodes.
I suppose it was just a matter of time that they would do this method, as I noticed that Showtime was doing this with their shows like YELLOWJACKETS streaming on Fridays and airing on Sundays.
