The entire channel is also dedicated to just mashing up the Enterprise intro (Mirror one too) with other TV themes.
That's a bit of a rabbit hole.

I've figured we've needed one for a while, so I'm starting it up! Anything goes. Especially Discovery.

I'm looking at getting a video projector. I'd say I've wanted to do this for years but that's a lie. I've wanted to do it for decades. I don't care how big the TV is, nothing beats watching something up against an entire wall.

I'd love to see Discovery on the Big Screen and this is how I'll make it happen. Some other stuff I want to see on the big screen too that I normally wouldn't be able to. But this was the Big Push.

..The LESS said about this series, the Better.

I feel like watching Burnham wait for Discovery will be a lot more relate-able now than it would've been without the Quarantine. She's sitting there, trying the pass the time, waiting for the wait to be over. Meanwhile, there's chaos out there.

Potential Season 3 Stuff:
The cover of a Star Trek Magazine issue due out in September has this on it

Now that could mean anything... but still.

^Interesting news.

General Discovery thought: I'd like to see a flashback episode set during Michael's time aboard the U.S.S. Shenzhou.

Guess that would depend what they did with the bridge set after it was turned into the S31 bridge.

Though I guess they could just do shots in quarters and corridors.

I had a crazy thought. It's counter-intuitive to what I've been arguing the last few years. In the past I've said they want to have Star Trek all year to keep subscriptions all year. As others have also thought. But if CBSAA Subscriptions aren't taking a hit during the off-months, I wonder if they'll start releasing entire seasons all at once like they did with this season's Twilight Zone?

STO Spoilers, but DSC Connected, which is why I'm posting it here
If you ever wanted to see what Robery O'Reilly (Gowron) would look like a DSC Klingon

The game doesn't say if he is an ancestor of Gowrons, but he is played by Robert O'Reilly, and the ridges do some what match Gowron's (specifically the 'Spine' part in the middle)
They also have Rekha Sharma as a TNG Style Klingon, but I forgot to grab an image

I for one think this would be a VERY helpful thing to do, especially since most of the new Trek shows have seasons with basically just one huge arc. This sort of thing just works MUCH better when binged, not when you have to wait a whole week for the next episode. Just my two casual viewer cents tho. ;)

I was looking at some behind-the-scenes pics of the Talosians and I think they look better in the makeup chair than they do on camera. Is it possible that the lighting and color filters aren't doing the makeup artist's work justice?

I’m sure you’ve seen, but Lower Decks is staying weekly. I imagine Trek has much more power to retain weekly subscribers than does TZ. I haven’t gotten the sense TZ has taken off the way they hoped, based on the tepid online reaction and the lack of mainstream buzz.

I think the pandemic makes it even trickier to predict Trek’s future. I wonder if all the production delays changed CBS’ calculus from “We need Trek all year ASAP” to “We need to ration Trek to prop up future earnings reports.”
