While I'm no fan of The Olive Garden, I was afraid this was going to be about those pasta bread bowl things in the recent Domino's Pizza ads.

I'm glad Maestro doesn't hate himself enough to eat those.

Frankly, if I want cheap "Italian" food, I go to Fazoli's. They have a drive-thru, and they have better breadsticks.

Two things my hometown needs - a Steak&Shake and a Fazoli's.

My wife wanted to order one of those the other night after I said I was too tired to cook anything.

Between that and her attempting to use soap (my God, soap) on one of my recently re-seasoned cast iron pans, I was tempted to divorce the woman immediately.

I think I made it through 3 bowls.

Impressive. Most impressive.

I usually eat three and feel quite content. I also have soup. If I skipped the soup, I could handle four.

My best friend and I managed to eat two dinners, 2 family size salads, and 3 baskets of breadsticks between us. I want us to go back and take on the neverending pasta bowl. Sounds like a challenge.

Breadsticks are just filler. I think I need to have a day where I really get a lot of exercise during the day AND workout.

I liked the mixed grill.

So they used to be made to order, and now aren't? That would make sense, I've noticed the last few times weren't as good as it used to be.
