Gaming Deals

I'm wrapping up Enslaved now and it's one of my contenders for GOTY which is saying a lot in a year that included Mass Effect 2, Red Dead Redemption and Batman: Arkham Asylum. I LOOOOOOVE story driven games and find Enslaved absolutely brilliant despite the sometims wonky controls.
While I don't think it's GOTY material, I also really enjoyed Enslaved.

In addition to Gold Box deals, today's Cyber Monday deals at Amazon include:

Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition, Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition, Red Dead Redemption for $29.99 for 360 and PS3.

Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare for $19.99 for 360.

The Sly Collection for $29.99 for PS3.

Metroid: Other M for $24.99 for Wii.

At Staples of all places, when a game's price ends in a seven (for example: $29.97) it apparently means it is a clearance item.

It seems to vary from store to store, but I got 50% off two games at a Calgary location after asking if the games I was going to buy were clearance items. At another location, they would not give me a discount.

Discounts seem to be applied at the discretion of whichever blue shirt is running the show at the time. Or maybe each store has their own policy... I dunno.

Right now Amazon is selling PS3 and 360 Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood for $50 and giving $20 store credit with it.

Friday through Sunday (Dec. 17-19) in-store only at Best Buy... buy any Wii and get a $75 gift card, buy a 160GB PS3 (hopefully they'll let you buy the bundle that comes with extra games for the same price) and get a $100 gift card.

Ugh, did I miss an awesome deal on Dead Space 2? I haven't bought it yet and I was Disney World that week! What was the price?
