Splinter Cell Conviction is $20 unadvertised this week at Best Buy.
Blockbuster is selling used games Buy 1 Get 1 Free if they're $14.99 and under.
I got God of War 2 and Kingdom Hearts 2 for $5 each (never played either)
Should I get God of War 1 now, or will that game be pretty dated in the graphics and controls now that it's so old?
Starcraft II is $40 at K-Mart from Sept. 5-11.
Today's (Sept. 6) Amazon video game deal of the day is Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Ultimate Edition for $39.99.
Okay, now THAT'S what I call a deal:
Just Cause 2 - £6.49
Until the 17th, GameFly is selling used copies of a few games (with free shipping).
Darksiders: $15, Xbox 360 & PS3
Alpha Protocol: $18, X360 & PS3
Dante's Inferno: $15, X360
Mass Effect 2: $15
God of War III: $15
Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition for the PS3 is $30 this week at Best Buy. And Amazon has matched it for now (though you have to go into the other sellers list to find it).
All day today (Sept. 21) on Amazon is Gold Box for PS3. And Heavy Rain is the deal of the day for $40.
Not sure which version you're thinking of getting, but I recently picked up the PS3 "Classics" edition that has 1 and 2 on the same disc and according to the packaging the graphics have been rendered for higher quality. It doesn't quite match the quality of say, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 but it does look really nice for an older game.
I'm playing it on PS2 now. It looks pretty good for a 2005 game. I hate the controls and the camera though. I can't tell you how many times I instinctively hit the right stick to fix the broken camera and ended up doing a roll off somewhere instead!
SHOP TO has Red Steel 2 plus the Motion Plus attachment for £13.85 with free p&p.
Zavvi has it a tad cheaper but is out of stock.
Amazon has Mass Effect 2 for Xbox 360 at $20 for today.
You can get a free game up to $60 at Toys 'R Us website when you get the Legendary Edition of Halo: Reach. You can also get 20% with the code 940710. I might get that and regular Reach to flip around on Craigslist for $50.
I just discovered a better idea: you can can also return the LE for $150 Gift Card at Walmart. So you pretty much get paid $30 for a free copy of Halo: Reach.
So buy something at Toys R Us and 'return' it to Walmart? Easy with the fraud
Meh, I would still be spending over $150 at Walmart.
Spending $0.01 at Wal-Mart is spending too much at Wal-Mart.
Next week at Toys R Us is their every-now-and-then buy 2, get 1 free sale, which is really only a 33% off each title sale but is still good if you buy three budget titles or three full price titles that just came out recently (that's how I got Uncharted 2).
Actually, I think I'm still going to keep the Legendary Edition anyways. The materials seem pretty cool.
Bejeweled 2 is available for free: http://www.popcap.com/games/bejeweled2/?icid=bej2free_HP_PLARGE_pc_10_10_10
