Got the email too and just redeemed it. I hadn't heard of the game before but I did enjoy Jade Empire. There's currently about 50 minutes or so left..
Not a "deal" but it sure beats paying scalper prices, the PS5 disc edition with Horizon: Forbidden West seems to keep popping up in stock a lot lately at the PlayStation Direct store. Free shipping if you have PS Plus.
Don't know if there will be anything good in this sale, but Best Buy is doing 10 days, 10 games for $10 each. Today is Call of Duty: Vanguard. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/video-.../pcmcat1649105798442.c?id=pcmcat1649105798442
The Sims 4 is now free to play across multiple platforms, with EA hoping you spend like there's no tomorrow on all the add-ons.
The original Splinter Cell for PC is free at the Ubisoft store until 11/30 to celebrate its 20th anniversary. https://store.ubi.com/us/tom-clancys-splinter-cell/575ffdc7a3be1633568b4f94.html?lang=en_US
If you've been wanting a PS5, now is the best time. The God of War bundle has been discounted to $510 at PlayStation Direct (ends 4/15), Amazon and Best Buy, and is in next week's Target ad.
I might have to consider a fucking PS5 if I want to get the Forbidden West DLC ...... Grumble, grumble. Ugly console is ugly
The PS5 is very functional and good but its design..... I just can't get over the shape and the sheer size of this thing next to the TV if and when I get it.
For anyone interested, Nintendo (in the USA) currently has a voucher program where if you buy a $100 voucher ($106 total) you get to pick any two downloadable games. Picked up Tears of the Kingdom this morning as one of the two games.
If anyone still wants the Avengers game, it's being delisted at the end of the month. Articles are saying the digital edition is down to $4 everywhere, but I'm still seeing it as $30 on the US Xbox page. It is $4 on Steam and the PS Store. After this month, whatever physical copies are still out in the wild will be all that's left.
Is being delisted the same as being discontinued? Might wander over to steam and buy this. I never really got into it when I played it on console though.
All physical copies of games eventually get discontinued. Digital delistings are also common. DuckTales: Remastered caused minor outrage when it was delisted, but it actually came back the next year. https://delistedgames.com/
Ta, thanks. Seems weird that something digital can be delisted, I mean it exists on a server so why can't it stay forever?
In this instance maybe the studio lost the Marvel license. If no one's buying the game, why spend money to renew the license?
