Gaming Deals

I heard some of the 99c stores had some Lego Dimensions stuff like the Portal Pack(!). Unfortunately, they don't have those stores (at least that one) out my way but I'm going to have to check Wal-Mart and keep an eye out for others if they are starting to clear them out.

Family Dollar has the fun packs for Zane (Ninjago), Emmet (The Lego Movie) & Eris (Chiba) for $5 each. I've gotten all three for myself & the nephews. Haven't seen any team or level packs, though.

(Update, this now seems to have been a pricing error as it has gone now, seems they aplied the same discount twice.
But i got them all DL so if they do indeed revoke and refund i can still run through them offline and get my money back before i hand them back. LOL)

On the XB1 marketplace the Resident evil super bundle consisting of....
RE 1 HD Remaster
RE 2 Revelations (All episode and DLC)
RE 4 HD remake.
RE5 Gold edition (al DLC)
RE 6 (All DLC)

That is 5 RE games with all their respective DLC for the grand price of...
UK £16
US $20.18
€ 20.00

Not only are all the Deep Silver games on sale from up to 80% off, but 'Saints Row 2' is currently free on GOG.
Also, if you happen to own any of the Saints Row games on Steam, you can have them added to your DRM free GOG library with GOG Connect. The offer expires in 45 hrs from time of posting, so don't wait around!

Note: I already owned just the bog standard edition of SR4 on steam and doing this added the "Game of the Century Edition" with all the DLC I never bothered with before to GOG. Basically a free upgrade! ;)

I just did that thank you very much.

So can we download them again DRM free off GOG?

Hey I did this and all I got was Saints Row 2, Gat Out Of Hell, and Saints Row 3 The full Package.

I'm missing SR4 which is in my steam library.

Yup. They do have their own client software but it's purely for download management and 100% optional.
What's more I think the GOG version of SR2 actually runs properly on modern systems. The Steam version needs some finagling IIRC.

It can be a little finicky. Give it a while and try again.
When this feature first came online last year I had one game that it stubbornly refused to recognise. In the end I think I took the brute force approach and opened about two dozen tabs on the same link. and hit refresh. Don't ask me why that worked, but it did.

The brute force method often is useful
