Games deserving of sequels

a Midtown Madness sequel for the pc would be good. With the same modability!

Didn't GTA3+ essentially do this, with extras? Between that and games like Burnout Paradise, what would a Midtown Madness sequel bring to the table?

Exactly! Warcraft 3 was a phenomenal game that deserves a true sequel. I never got into Starcraft or Diablo. They're both obviously highly acclaimed, and I don't begrudge those franchises getting sequels.

I don't really like how WoW has taken over as Warcraft. I guess it's harder for Blizzard to justify more RTS Warcraft when they can just crank out another WoW expansion and print money.

We need a Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic III. The upcoming The Old Republic MMORPG doesn't count.

I'm also completely agreed on new games in the Wing Commander, MechWarrior, and Crimson Skies series.

Hmm, good one. Let's see:

- Streets of Rage (although I'm afraid of what Sega would do with that looking at what they've done to poor Sonic): I'd like another game in the series that harked back to the first game which I always thought was just incredible fun to play, especially in two player mode.

I agree. I found 3, in particular, to be really, really bad (no thanks to the IMHO awful soundtrack).

Also, it may be in development, but it's taking so long to come out for a supposedly "episodic" game that Half Life 2: Episode 3 deserves a mention.

Agreed. Love that game. Wish Firaxis would do a sequel/remake instead of another Civilization expansion (as fun as Civilization can be).
