I don't think as many people (main characters) are going to die as a lot of predictions have it. There will be major characters bite the dust (or the ice if you will), but some will remain. As to the ice people, almost all of them will die except for the few that somehow escape and in the very last scene are shown heading back north with a few of our favorites dragging their icy asses along with them.

Can you imagine Jaimie and Cersei BOTH ending up as popcycles heading north? True love never dies.

So how many of previously killed characters will show up as ice zombies? I expect Hodor and Benjen.

Yeah, I fully expect to see Hodor, just so they can rip our hearts out all over again.

Benjen already was a kind of zombie, referred to as “Cold Hands” in the books, made by the Children. Not sure if he’s corruptible by the Walkers. But yeah, Hodor should definitely make an appearance in the dead army.

Can I make a simple request for everyone in this thread? While this is obviously a spoiler discussion thread, can those who watch the previews for the next episode discuss their content inside spoiler code? I know that makes me sound like spoiler-phobe, but I also know that some of us want to go into each episode spoiler free as possible and don't want even the suggestion of what will happen in the next episode.

I have been staying out of this thread to avoid spoilers but it is too late to worry about that any more. Only a bit more than 4 hours to go.

I have lined up my pops/figures in readiness for the first episodes. Only three of my pops are already dead on the show and I have laid them down. How many more will end up the same? I have put the biggest Westerosi killer in the front. Hopefully he will stay upright until he finishes the other two books (and the Dunk and Egg books as well)

I've been so focused on so many other things both as a fan and in my real life that I haven't really let it truly sink in that we only have 6 more hours left in this particular version of Westeros and with these characters, but it's finally starting to hit me just how much I'm going to miss the series.

All I can say to this is... think back to 20 MONTHS ago, as we saw the wall come down and the Army Of The Dead march on Westeros... cut to black. Remember the pain in that moment - knowing just how long you'd have to wait for season 8.
