I'm taking tomorrow and Friday off from work so I can watch the Blu-Rays and the extra features. No better way to spend vacation time.

It is a 'legit' poster by HBO, but it won't be used for official marketing. It same name deal as the recent "The North Remembers" bloody wolf hide poster.

To my great personal amusement, I've been thinking about doing something like this for a project in my Visual Communications class. Guess it's time to come up with a different idea...

I don't think this has been posted yet. They've released the tie-in cover for A Clash of Kings. I first saw it yesterday while I was looking at the books in the Wal-Mart I work in. They've also changed the cover for the Nook version to this one.

It's not really spikey, those are rounded antler horns so if you don't grab it hard it won't hurt.

It's the same as the one Robert wore in the first season, IIRC.

it looks like they are switching the tagline for the season ("War is coming") - Many of the new advertising materials have the same image with the hand grabbing the crown, but the text above is instead: "Five Kings. One Throne". I like that better.

Though that tagline isn't strictly accurate, since two of the five kings (Robb Stark and Balon Greyjoy) aren't claiming the Iron Throne.

Just watched "The Lion and The Wolf"/episode 5 through "You Win or You Die"/episode 7. Damn this show is amazing. I've really been looking forward to the second half of the season, and so far it has not disappointed at all.

I loved the Ned/Jaime fight, Sean Bean is over 50 and can still cut it!

Yeah, honestly I think that was in of the most realistic sword fight scenes I've seen in a while. I've gotten used to the fast paced, jumping around kind of duels like they had in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, but this seemed alot more realistic than something like that.
