Freemasons

Question:

What are the freemasons planning to do to prepare for the disasters of December 2012?

Did you know Jay Z is a mason

- The name rocafella is evidence of a link to the illuminati (despite being started when he was still a relative unknown)
- The song umbrella is about rihanna selling her soul to the devil
- Or its about jay z / rihanna being under the illuminatis "umbrella" and thus unaffected by the economy crashing
- Beyonces videos and onstage persona are a sign of her being brought to the dark side by jay z
- His onstage handshake with Nas to end their feud was a masonic handshake
- Public appearences with Bloomberg, Tom Cruise and Bill Gates are proof he's a mason.

as is beyonce

I can't speak for the Masons, but if I were them I would raise money for the Shriner hospitals by selling survival kits to 2012 believers.

It's not even really been spoken about. Of course, I've been cutting back in my own involvement due to general burnout of being an officer in so many of the appendant bodies, so I'm not as privy to those topics as much as I used to. The general consensus of those I've discussed it with is that the Mayan/Aztec/Egyptian calendars merely "recycle" back to their beginning "zero-date" and nothing much else will happen. It's a Y2K thing for those ancient calendars, but since it's not a computer-related problem, I'm not too worked up about it. I did get a bunch of stuff for Y2K and, since nothing never happened, I still do have all that stuff, on the remotest off-chance that something does happen. But I seriously doubt it will.

As far as an institutionalized preparation, nada. Masons are too worried about retaining a dwindling membership through the deaths of so many older WWII-generation members. The 2012 thing ain't even on the radar. Sorry to disappoint.

I would say something but I dont want my tongue torn out and thrown in the deepest ocean. Then again I dont care.

I "pledged" masonary while I was in the Army in Germany. I made it to level 2 before I had to PCS back to the States and never got initiated into the full order. They pretty much beat the heck out of me as part of the initiation. When I got home my butt was black and swollen and I had bruises all over my body. I could barely walk.

A sergeant I knew was a mason, but he wanted to move into another higher group some kind of black skull league or something. Him and some other guys submitted to being beat all night in the Army post's gym. They were beat with the camo net spreaders we used to prop up the nets over out vehicles. WHen I saw him the next day, he could barely walk or stand in formation and had the thousand yard stare.

I have been approached by other masons asking me if I want to finish it up and reach the third level and I tell them to go pound sand. If I want to be tortured I will fly to Afghanistan and let Bin Laden do it, at least I will get some fame out of it.

I'm starting my own secret society off. We'll have our own symbols, handshakes and rules. Who wants to join 'The Order of the Tachyon'??

That's nothing like what I went through. Nothing like anyone I've ever talked to went through.

I admit I know precisely sod-all about this whole thing but I also admit that I laughed when I heard about "pledging masonry". It's like somebody saying "I promise I'll build you a brick wall! I promise!" :guffaw: ;)

As there is no physical violence in any of the degrees, I call bullshit.

Perhaps it's an irregular lodge that's irregular because they "don't believe in that pussy no-hazing bullshit."

Or it's just a bunch of guys that work out there repressed homosexual desires by beating each other up and they decided to pretend to be Masons when they did it.

It may also be one of those Prince Hall military Lodges I mentioned in an earlier post. As they are quite distant from their chartering Grand Lodge, they may feel like they can "get away" with adding more "flare" to the ritual without any fear of charter revocation, if any of this is even the case. I, too, am skeptical about the claim, as I never witnessed any such hazing when I started.

Lookingglassman, would you be at liberty to divulge the name of that Lodge? If they are abusing initiates, they should be called out on it.

The only Lodge known for any kind of physical abuse is Garibaldi Lodge up in New York City. Made mostly of Metro Police, they do draw blood. In fact, as I understand the stories, they also make you fill out a "will". Again, this is not what we are supposed to be about. I suspect that anyone that joins such Lodges are made fully aware of what they are to expect. That is NOT the norm, at least, where I'm from.
