It's a golf idiom, meaning to prepare or make ready. "Teeing up" means putting the golf ball on the little stick that holds it in place (the tee) so you can hit it.What does “tees up” mean? Did they mean “teases”?

They were literally referred to as Primetime Soaps.Never watched them, but there weren't shows like Dallas and Dynasty, which were hourly-long weekly dramas (so not soap operas) and strongly serialized?
So everything now is a Primetime soap?!?They were literally referred to as Primetime Soaps.
MaybeSo everything now is a Primetime soap?!?![]()
Sons of Anarchy Downtown Abbey certainly were.Maybe![]()
Joking aside, I looked up the definition online and thematically I see no difference with modern heavily serialized shows. The only difference seems to be just the schedule. But if I decided to watch "For All Mankind" in the evening once a week, it would be indistinguishable from a "Primetime soap"Maybe![]()

A brief spoiler-free reaction to "House Divided."
I was wondering how long it would take for Margot to discover the dark side of working for the Soviet space program. Now she's gonna have to have to temper her natural talent for finding problems since those findings will almost always end in the removal and death of someone else. I don't see her new friend lasting long once she discovers Margot got her boss removed.
Ed Baldwin is going to snap here soon. We saw how he got in the first season when is son died, I don't think this is gonna be any better. Dani is showing her own leadership issues, seemed pretty dismissive of the lower deckers when concerns were voiced. Miles is gonna cause someone to get killed due his constantly pushing, he's too reckless and that's going to be a problem. Doubtlessly all these storylines are gonna collide and cause major issue.
Either way, we need a little Sinatra when the moment comes.
"My way" or "fly me to the moon"?
Yeah, that bothered me greatly. Even in the realm of menial work, safety comes first and I cannot believe they wouldn't have safety precautions like you outlined. I've loved the meticulous nature of many aspects of this show but this felt like a mistake that existed solely to create drama and that's unfortunate.1. I don't see Miles just being able to check out a suit and go galloping off on his own across the Martian landscape. It's a deadly, dangerous environment even to those who know what they are doing. At the very, very least, you would think there would be some 'buddy system' rules in place to prevent exactly what we saw. Especially for a first-timer.
Yuuuup. I immediately thought of that Mars probe when Kirill talked about the mistake unit conversation. Made that whole incident feel believable because we know it can and has happened.4. The engineering analysis was pretty good. The units-conversion thing has bitten a lot of engineers in real life, including one lost Mars probe when a similar mistake was made at JPL years ago. I really liked the attention to detail shown here in this bit of storytelling.
Really, this was an episode of fools. Svetlana and her reckless fight in a spacesuit (even if that guy was an ass) kicked everything off, but at least she had the good sense to realize she knew she screwed up and had to pay the price. Whereas Ed went Full Ed to the point of tearing up his longtime friendship with Dani...and Dani was damn right about Ed and his very shitty history of backing people with emotions and not facts.
