Be sure to check for the special features (Apple doesn't hide them quite as well as Amazon does, but they're still missable). For both season two and three (once you get there), there's an expansion of the montage, where you get a news clip from each of the years that was skipped over, with a little more detail and context. There are some others, as well, phone-messages left between characters that tie into specific episodes, and in season 3, they started doing fun little infotainment pieces about some of the real scientific concepts that are used in certain episodes. The official podcast is also worth listening to for some insight behind-the-scenes.

Karen is starting to become unlikeable as a character. First she spoils TWOK to her husband, telling him Spock dies in a fit of pique, and then she shags her dead son's best friend in an icky 'Stacy's Mom' cougar moment. Not. Cool.
Pretty much. Mind you, I was never a fan of Karen but that shit was awful and only got worse.I started fast forwarding through stuff that doesn't really have to do with the space parts of the show in Season 2+.
