I will try to see the entire Star Trek-saga in 1 year - for the first time! I start 1. january and hopefully I'm finished 31. december 2014.

A little background story: I'm a huge movie buff, owning more than 1500 films, but I have never seen any Star Trek. Then I bought Star Trek(2009), because I wanted to see all IMDB's top250-films. I saw about 10 minutes, decided to check how much all series and film would cost on amazon...and then I bought it :) - good decision, I know! So now I own all films, and all official series, including TAS.

Then I thought: why not try watching it in a year and blog about it? So I have created this little, simple blog(which also is first time for me).

Can I become a trekkie in 1 year? Will I hate or love Star Trek? What will my girlfriend say about the project - I have told her, that we really can't watch any other series together for 1 year.

At the moment I'm unemployed, and since it's "only" about 10.5 hours per week, it is not a problem. But hopefully I will get a job soon.

If you want to follow my journey, be sure to check in on my site from 1. december 2013. I will start writing about my personal life, so you will get to know me, and I will write about my knowledge of Star Trek, which is rather limited.

If you have any suggestions for my site, you're more than welcome to write them here.

Oh, yeah...the website is here: www.startrek365.com or www.allanfjord.dk

Enjoy your day!

Remember to follow my blog! I start with the first post 1. december, and I will start watching Star Trek 1. january.

I'm really looking forward to it, since I have seen a lot of references to Star Trek in TV-shows.

This is a really well intentioned idea, and certainly sounds like a "cool" thing to do. However, I do think following a strict schedule to complete all of Trek in 365 days runs a high possibility of "burn out", no matter how good the episodes.

Personally, I'd take it at a bit more of leisurely pace, and alternate with other shows/interests - allowing you to constantly come back to Trek with a fresh perspective.

Since this is just an invitation to follow a blog, I am going to close it.

I will leave the link active.
