Very similar faces, you can even see it in StCoop's pic, which looks like he's wearing special effects scarring

So basically, anyone with swept back longish grey hair looks like the first Doctor?

If you can't see any similarity beyond that nothing I say will change your mind, but I think it goes beyond the hair. He looks more like Hartnell than Hurdall did!

Well, theres also lighting, etc to take into account. I'm sure fully lit from a different angle theres no resemblence at all.

^I wouldn't disagree with that. I think the nose eyes hair and mouth are similar enough that from certain angles he looks like him, but he's a lot harsher in the face than Hartnell was. I'm just saying there is a resemblance beyond hagving long grey hair (at least from some angles)

Well I am worried that we will have more River-centric stories this season. I hope she stays out of it this time, as there is a lot of other cooler things to look forward to than her... again.

Just my way of saying that I think she will be back, and I'm fine with that, though I hope it's as less of a presense than she was in S6.

Amen to that. I don't so much hate her as I think she overshadows everything else that is happening.

I'm glad you clarified. Based on your earlier statement it sounded as if you had inside knowledge saying without a shadow of a doubt that she'd be back, and in a high capacity.

She's been played out, her storline is done. I'm not sure what more they can say with her character that they haven't already said.

You got that right, friend with the Seven avatar. We know how she meets the Doctor, tries to kill him, becomes a sort of on again, off again companion, and eventually we even see her die. Her origins are revealed and I have very little tolerance left for the character.

Given her relationship to Rory and Amy I'd be amazed if we don't see her at least once in the first half of S7...

I got the sense that they were winding her character down as they filled in the missing parts. I don't have anything against her but agree with the sentiment that she's had her time. However, I'm sure that we'll see her again before Amy and Rory leave. And, it's hard to imagine her not being at the Fall of the Eleventh!

That's a good point, once Amy and Rory leave she really has no business being around. The focus of the stories at that point should be introducing us to the new (and HOT!) companion. More River would just detract from that.
