Really? I think black and white comics are more interesting to look at, because the drawings are not drowned in color.Comic books are all about color. Black and white is visually boring.
I used to use black and white comics as colouring in books when I was much younger.
There's nothing wrong with B&W comics. The B&W Marvel magazines of the 70s were fantastic. Then there's books like Creepy and Eerie (now being re-issued in archives by Dark Horse).
Of course there isn't anything wrong with black and white comics. Scott Pilgrim is among my favorite all time comics. That is why I didn't buy Mr. Light's reply that he didn't like the FF costumes due to their being no color in them and that comics are all about color. They're not just about color. There are other aspects that combine to make comics great.
Besides which I don't think we're really supposed to like the Future Foundation costumes. As someone indicated they're clinical looking, we know that Reed is a scientist and spends a great deal of time in his lab, I think they're supposed to be like superhero lab coats.The Future Foundation is all about science, he probably wanted uniforms to reflect his thinking. If DC didn't sue over the various incarnations of Squadron Supreme, they'll probably never sue over anything.
However, if I were a Time-Warner lawyer and I also hated art, I'd hit Disney the instant they tried to do anything with Miracleman.

Re: Black Bolt--yeah, there were consequences, but it's really cheaty. Maybe it's because I came in cold and because I've been out of the loop, but his speech didn't seem special, and it should always be very special when Black Bolt speaks. Otherwise, I'm just reading about an incontinent Black Canary. Routine Kree-killing is what that tuning fork on his head's for.
Also, he kinda straight-up murdered that guy. Which I guess is fine, Black Bolt is a dick, but he's usually written as far more restrained.

I'm really looking forward to "All Hope Lies In Doom". This has been something that Hickman has been teasing since he pretty much started his run. Looking forward to FF #600 as well despite the hefty price tag.
What exactly has the teasing been about?
^ I'd have to explain Hickman's entire run to explain the tease. It basically has something to do with a deal that Val and Victor made.
How old is Val now?
That's a good question. Both her and Franklin have actually visibly aged during the start of Hickman's run to current time in the run (something that I noticed while going through the trades) I think she's supposed to be around 10. Possibly younger. Franklin celebrated a birthday before Johnny's "death" where Peter appeared but I don't think an age was given.
But wait, if Valeria is 10, then that means that Spider-Man has been active for at least a decade! I don't like this. It ages the character. We need a magical reboot stat! Make him younger! And single! With a new costume! And can't we radically alter his origin story while we're at it? Let's make JJJ his biggest fan from the beginning!!!

Valeria was born in fantastic four #50 circa 2002, a few years after her time travelling teen age self (Valeria Von Doom, I believe?) used the last days of the 20th century as a revolving door, but here's the kicker, a time hick-up caused Sue Richards to do-over the same pregnancy that she miscarried back in the 80s during Byrne's tenure because she was conceived in the negative Zone...
I don't think that Val is ten.
In the beginning of the Hickman run she was pretending that she hadn't learnt how to talk yet until her father told her to stop bullshitting him, and then (issues and issues later) Sue heard them talking about science and shit a brick thinking that Reed had been dosing her with drugs or giving Valeria surgeries to make her as smart as he is.
Only complete moron 3 year olds (baring a physical imposition) have trouble talking, and some of them are as fluent as adults when expressing themselves.
Alex Power (Who is part of the Future Foundation.) wasn't yet a teenager when he drafted Franklin into Power Pack in the 80s, and Hickman isn't writing him much more mature than 16 (And like a rookie which pisses me off.). Which probably means that Alex has clocked more mission time than Spider-Man by the time he is yet to become the same age as Peter was when he took that school bus to that science exhibit to get bitten by some mischievous radioactive spider(god).
Luke Cage's wife Jessica, went to school with Peter and was on that same Field trip. What's the youngest limit at which Powerman would pull? Because there's no mistaking her as anything but 30ish. Possibly 28 at the youngest... they made a big deal about how no Iron Fist has lived past 33 in the recent Iron Fist series.
Jessica's baby is what's marking time these days.

So technically (grain of salt) Valeria is 5 months older than Danielle.
