Feline Follies

I lost Daisy last Wednesday. I had to have her put to sleep. It's hit me harder than I thought it would. She always liked to help me decorate for Halloween or Christmas, getting tangled up in things or chasing cords around.

She is so beautiful. What a darling.

Really sorry for your loss Gary.

Here's my cat. He really belongs to one of my house sharing pals but she lets me share him. =)

Lovely cat! But please forgive me, I need to put on the mod hat for a second. Due to our anti-hotlinking rules, I just wanted to check with you to see if that site is either an image hosting site that allows hotlinking, or is a site you personally own? If neither, then we will have to convert the inline image to a link. Thank you! :)

I personally own the site. :)
I tried an image hosting site earlier on but the images wouldn't show up on the board. But they do when I put them on my site.

My cat is destroying the bottom of the front door. I'm not sure what that part is called. Weather stripping? Draft seal? Any ideas what I can do to make him stop? It's not something a pet scratch protector would prevent, because it's the very bottom of the door and not the side, and scratch protectors don't go all the way to the floor. I'm going to need to replace this door bottom soon.

Since getting back from the hospital, Willow has been spending absolutely as much time with me as possible. Any time I'm on the couch or at my PC, she's either next to me or on me. She doesn't want to be without me again.

Kaylee has adapted. Most of the time she's on one of my jackets near my computer, but only rarely comes to me for attention. When I'm on my PC, she's only a couple of feet away, but she seems to be satisfied with this arrangement.

Sophie? Eh. I could be here or I could be gone. She's not bothered.
