Feline Follies

BJ, I'm so happy that you have solved the problem of keeping a diaper on a cat. I've made note of your idea...leash and collar attached to the diaper, ingenious!

Yeah, that was a very quick development on our part! There's a cut section of a leash pinned on both the front and back of the diaper. We also have to put a strip of medical tape around the waist so that the diaper's fastening tabs don't pull off, and also to keep her from pulling her legs out of the holes.

Uh-oh...there's a dog thread now! We can't let this one drift into ignominy in the back pages of the BBS, with THAT kind of competition! ;)

I thought of starting a BBS cat of the year poll but even as adorable as my Perro is, nobody can compete with this little trooper.

Thank you, guys!

I just have to say, Matilda is an AWESOME name for a cat. :techman:
Thanks! I can't really take the credit though. I named her after a cat I saw in an Animal Planet show. It was a Ragdoll from upscale New York, whose owner used to throw her parties and invited other cats along with their owners. Mine's a Birman according to my vet, but she looks very much like that New Yorker aristocat, and I think the name suits her. :p

How is Banshee the diaper kitty coming along B.J.?
She's doing fine. She seems to have settled into the routine of going into her crate while we're gone during the day, and into her diaper when we're home. She really doesn't like us having to put it on her, so it usually takes two of us to change her. But she does get around just fine with it on, running around and chasing her buddy Phantom and climbing the furniture.

Her scars are slowly healing and the fur is starting to grow back. She does try to use the litter pan, but nothing happens on command yet, although we're still hopeful! The vet did say that it would probably take several months before she'd get function back, if she does.

So glad to hear she's progressing and she is certainly settling in very well! What a cutie!

3D printer printing a sleeping kitty? ;)

I want to print lots of them. Yeah...I already have two, but just this one night I wish I could be the crazy cat lady and have lots of them to keep me company.

All I can say is tonight at work sucked horribly and I came home almost in tears. :(

Thanks for the kitties, guys. They really help on bad nights.

Sorry to hear you had a rough night, Nerys. More kitties for you:

This is what I found when I got home from work a couple of days ago.

My cat like to lies on top of the receiver in my bedroom. Thankfully it is an old one so I don't mind.

The last printer was ruined by cat hair so there is now an object on this one, LOL. But sometimes it gets removed and the cats have special radar if any previously unavailable surface becomes available.
