Favorite Weyoun Moment...

One of my favorite Weyoun/Damar scenes comes at the end of Image in the sand after everyone discovers that the Romulans have placed weapons on the Bajoran moon of Derna.

"Romulans. So predictably treacherous!"

Both Vorta and Cardassian share a smug look, pretty ironic considering what happens later...

When Demar was mocking the Bajoran's belief in the Prophets and then turning to mock the notion that founders were God's and when Weyoun asserts that they are God's!

What really sells it is Damar's facial expression after Weyoun makes that statement. Contempt, anger and frustration all in one scowl:guffaw:.

The line he gives in "What You Leave Behind" when Kira and co. manage to get into the command room. "Colonel Kira... what a pleasant surprise..."

Just the way he forces the word "pleasant" out is just perfect.

Also, the moment after watching Damar's rebellion speech when he tells Thot Gor, "I don't care how many Cardassians you have to kill, find Damar," and then there's a quick glance over his shoulder at a Cardassian working on a console across the room. An absolutely perfect moment.

"Time to start packing.." makes me laugh every time I see it.

There was a S7 episode where a scene starts with Thot-Gor and Weyoun laughing at something. the camera pulls away, revealing Damar just a few feet away. Weyoun looks over and says "oh, Damar, there you are." The way he delivered the line and looks on their faces was classic.

I loved the way Weyoun talked, adjusting his pitch and how fast he talked as he took breaths mid sentence. It was fantastic. Weyoun/ Jeffrey Combs was superb and never dissapointed.

A great character portrayed by an amazing actor, truly.

The "Time to start packing!", complete with a hand clasp gets me ever time.

One of my favorite scenes in all of Star Trek:
Weyoun: All this talk of gods strikes me as nothing more than superstitious nonsense.
Damar: You believe that the Founders are gods, don't you?
Weyoun: That's different.
Damar: In what way?
Weyoun: The Founders ARE gods.
The scene is perfectly delivered.

And, for sheer comedic delivery:
"Time to start packing!"

Yup, those are mine, too. The "packing" line was especially effective in contrast with Dukat's meltdown. To Weyoun, it was just another day on the job. :rommie:

Plus the nasty look he gives Damar when talking about the "transporter accident." ;)

Gah, why can't Jeffrey Combs, Casey Biggs and Marc Alaimo be cast in some good sci fi show now? :( I want to see them back on a regular basis (tho Alaimo may be retired?)

I don't think there are any Weyoun moments that aren't my favorites, actually. The man just chews up the scenery, without you even realizing until it's over. :rommie:

I was going to mention that one.
Similarly, in one of the episodes when he's talking about the founders making the Vorta with poor eyesight. Damar (I think) mentions that being a mistake on the part of the Founders. Weyoun angrily retorts: "Gods don't make mistakes!"

There's a scene I wish they'd left in that they cut from "You Are Cordially Invited". It turns out that while the station was occupied, Weyoun was living in Bashir's old quarters. Inside there are some interesting little insights in to his character. Bashir finds he has been collecting shoes, drinks coasters, bits of string, broken bottles, spent power cells, picture frames and broken chair legs just because he was fascinated by them.

Huh. I guess he wishes he'd started packing earlier.;)

The line from "Treachery, Faith, & the Great River," "Of course I'm paranoid. Everyone's trying to kill me."

My favorite Weyoun moment was from Treachery, Faith, and The Great River. Jefferey Combs is a terrific actor and I enjoy watching him perform, especially in his horror roles and Star Trek

The poison drink scene in Ties of Blood and Water.

Yep, that's a real good one. Esp what he says, "Oh my, that's quite toxic!" And Dukat's astonished comment, "Are you insane?"

My other favorite is from his first appearance in To The Death when he tries to tempt Sisko into joining the Dominion by offering him absolute rule of the Federation.

Red Ranger

Keeping in mind that I think Combs is a brilliant character actor and that Weyoun was terrific fun, I'd have to say my favorite moment was when Worf killed him. While it wasn't Combs' greatest performance moment, it puts me on the floor every time.

It's been a while since I've seen DS9 - I'm currently on S7 of Voyager.

But I LOVED Weyoun! His character was so annoying but you couldn't help but love him.
