In starship classification, a runabout is the designation of a type of vessel smaller than a starship but larger than a shuttlecraft.

I was going to mention that LCARS 24 forgot about that one, haha. It's my favorite as well (tied with the Danube-class Runabout, if a Runabout is indeed a "shuttle".)My favourite is the Enterprise-E shuttlecraft, popularly known as Type 11.

The “Class H” shuttle is a fan creation. Only one shuttlecraft type, the Class F, ever appeared in Trek TOS. And it's still my favorite. The boxy design dictated by time and budget constraints still looks modern and functional today. As Zefram Cochrane said, “It's simple and clean.”Class F and the class H from TOS is my favourite followed by TNG shuttlecraft from seasons 1 and 2 !!!

I'm also a fan of the Type 8 and 9, the Delta Flyer (other than the silly "retro" controls that Tom put in), and the Peregrine, but the Type 11 and the Danube are tops for me.
