The third Season of Enterprise was cool for a few reasons:

1. It had a long drawn out story arc.
2. It was emotional because it reminded us of 9/11
3. It brought us some interesting moral dilemma episodes.
4. Porthos got to really shine in this season (Oh wait, that's Season 2)
5. The MACO's were awesome.
6. Showed us really cool looking aliens (Not the galaxy quest lizard guys)
7. Azati Prime (One of my favorites)
8. T'Pol becomes a crack head and gets it on with Trip
9. The expanse was a really cool and unique idea.
10. Impulse (Great zombie episode)

Season 4, followed by Season 1.

I can't stand the premise for Season 3, but on reflection, I'd say there were better episodes churned out in that season than Season 2 had overall.

Season 4.

I loved the short two and three part story arcs. I thought it was a better, and more focused, way of doing an arc than what they did in Season 3. However, Season 3 was still awesome.

I agree totally. Make the ongoing plot too complex and you alienate casual viewers. Use the reset button too much and it affects the emotional impact of the show and hampers character development, particularly for the recurring guest stars. Short multi-episode arcs are the future! Admittedly though Buffy managed to mix and match really well. Season 3 had a lot of dramatic tension but Season 4 edged it for me, particularly due to increased usage of existing TOS Trek aliens.

I guess I gotta go with season 1.

Its hard for me to pick, arguably the worst Trek series ever.

I loved Voyager but couldnt get into Enterprise. It did have some good moments though I admit.

Season 4 for me. It had some really good story arcs, and started to have the original series feeling.
Season 3 for me.Season 4 loses points due to TATV. Sorry, but that pesky points scoring system speaks volumes. It's a shame, too, because 4 had so many good story arcs, only to be brought down by that damn final episode.

I really liked the fourth season. It stumbles a few times ("Bound," "Daedalus," "These Are The Voyages...") and fails to make the most out of three seasons of the temporal cold war ("Storm Front" and "Storm Front, Part II" are more exercises in dealing with an ill-advised cliff-hanger than successful episodes in their own right), but other than that delivers on the promise of an arc-based show that is also a prequel to Star Trek.

Second to that I would favor the first season. It also stumbles a few times, but I think it was a promising start to the series and much better than the uneven season three or the complete mess of season two.

Season 4.

Followed by the Xindi-arc season. The second/sophomore year is just the worst hands down.

I didn't vote because I can't really say if I liked S3 or S4 the best. Both were good seasons but quite different. I liked the darker sense of S3 and the unpredictability, but as some point out, S4 is really what ENT should have been from the start. It got derailed there somewhere after the first half season and had to be pulled out of the misery in the way it was with S3.

It's a tough call between Seasons 3 and 4.

4 feels far more Star Trekky and is more consistent, but the characters often seemed overshadowed by the guest stars and the quality level rarely rose above 'good'.

3 has more great episodes and the characters were better served, but a fair amount of it is formulaic and dull in my opinion.

I choose Season 3, by a narrow margin.

I liked Season 3 the best, but I also liked Season 1 about as much. Season 4 is a little overrated IMO.

I voted for Season 3 which I have just finished watching. When it came to Season 4 I get the impression that the writers thought, heck, how are we going to top that?
Consequently they worked really hard on story lines and came up with some good stuff. The last ever episode was a bit strange though.

Overall, I have to go with Season 4. I really enjoyed all the multi-episode story arcs (trilogies and duologies) after they tied up the Temporal Cold War. I honestly feel that each Enterpise season got better than the one before, which is why I am so dissappointed it didn't go at least one more season.

Season 4 was my favorite. They should have been doing this from the beginning instead of the FutureGuy, Ferengi, and Borg stuff. The Xindi story arc didn't do much for me. It's a little hard to believe that such a disastrous encounter with the Xindi was never muched in the later centuries. (I know that ENT was made after the other 4 series.) I would have found it more believable if the Xindi were the Kzinti. The disastrous first encounter with the Klingons mentioned in STTNG wasn't all that traumatic to me in "Broken Bow." I could have also done without the revisits to the Mirror Universe and the TNG valentine but overall the 4th season was still the best to me.
The positives being the fascinating look into the Andorians and later the Tellarites and the Orions. A nice look into the Klingons and Soong's work. The best: the Vulcan trilogy. Nuff said.

I like them all the same really. I picked 4 though for this poll.
