A-10s! We had them at Dad's base when I was growing up. A pair of A-10s soaring over my hometown was a common sight when I was growing up.
Yup. Loved those things. F-18s are cool and all, but they just don't have the "character" of the A-10.

Yes, "amazing"The SR-71. Amazing to think they developed that bastard without "modern" computer technology.
Favourite overall jet fighter: F-14 Tomcat. Especially in the Jolly Rogers livery.
My favourite WW2 fighter: Supermarine Spitfire MK.IX
Favourite WW2 Bomber: B-15 Mitchell
The B-52. Let's face it, they still fly them today-which boggles the mind when you think about it. These babies have been delivering payloads for half a century. I mean, you didn't see a lot of Dehavilland Jennys in 'Nam, now did you? What a plane!
Yes, you are right! What was I thinking... Must have put on my boots too tightYes, "amazing"The SR-71. Amazing to think they developed that bastard without "modern" computer technology.(Area 51, anyone?)
Ah, B-25 Mitchell, isn't it?Favourite overall jet fighter: F-14 Tomcat. Especially in the Jolly Rogers livery.

I agree, but I much more prefer the earlier models with the different canopy. I don't think the tearshaped canopy suits the Spitfire very well. Though it does so on the Mustang. Another great plane btw! "Cadillac of the Sky!"This:
