I'd place half the season 2 cast above either Malvo or Varga in terms of interestingness.
I'm glad I'm not the only person who is continuously grossed out by this season. I keep having to look away especially with Varga.Ew. I hate when they do close ups of someone's mouth as they eat a sandwich. Ugh. And I had to look away when Varga had that metal stick inside his teeth. The show is really grossing me out this season.
It was a carated artery cut on the left side, right out of the aorta. Looked severed clean through. Without immediate medical treatment within minutes, it was a guaranteed bleed-out. Nothing Emmit could have done. Did he actually know that? Unsure. But the strength and distance of the blood spray was a pretty good indicator of the severity of the situation. One thing did bother me: Considering his genuine contrition and telling Ray not to take out the glass, why didn't Emmit try to stop the bleeding?
I wasn't sure until the Numbers and Wrench theme song started playing, that drum is very distinctive.Thankfully no gross out moments this week. Gloria's new boss is still a dick. And who was that sitting next to Nikki on the prison transport bus? Why it's Mr. Wrench from the first season.
Sarah Palin grew up in Alaska, but has that same "midwest nice" manner of speaking. Her parents were from Idaho, so maybe that explains it.That seems to be the go-to formula in most of the Fargo series, going back to the original movie. Not a very good perception of Minnesotans and Dakotans. My wife has lots of family up there and not a single one of them are as dumb as a bag of hammers like these people are. Further, I've met no one who talks like they do in the show with all the "aw, geeeeze" and "oh, yah?" nonsense.
