I'm re-watching FF: World's Greatest Heroes the 26 episode 2006 animated series. I think this is the best tv/movie interpretation of the FF so far. It's got the sense of humor without being too childish.
IIRC, my thoughts were that the last half was better than the first half. It had a tonal shift around ep12/13.
