Fan reactions to Starfleet Academy's female Jem'Hadar/Klingon hybrid character

Canon just means it happened on screen. Those Klingons happened. Whether or not they appear again doesn't change anything.

"Canon" is (IMO) too often confused with being some kind of final word on the matter. Like "This is real, and this it not!"

And I’m rather confident Kraag will be his father’s name. The early teasers already alluded to the fact that we would see his father. And Kraag just sounds so much like a single Klingon name. But we’ll see.
Sadly, I doubt that is the case. Note how on the shuttle ride introducing the Athena to the audience, Nahla Ake summoned a holographic profile of "Lura Thok" with the registered name as such, and then a minute later, Lura Thok did exactly the same for the audience's introduction to "Jay-Den Kraag". It feels like bad writing to me for Lura Thok to brag about her Klingon heritage and then turn around to refer to Cadet Kraag by his father's personal name. As someone who has known IRL Ethiopian people for a long time, I just don't see American writers as sophisticated enough to make a meta gag about the art of butchering patronymics.

I have a new observation: We live in an era where simpletons can share their opinion anytime they like.

Thats all

Surely you’re excluding present company, right? Right?! Seriously, though, next time do a better job of making clear you are not openly insulting your fellow posters. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt this time and assume you’re talking about people elsewhere on the internet. Next time I won't be so charitable.

Absolutely.

The way I put it, canon ≠ continuity.

Closest I could think of. Evidently their trunk fused with their chin at some point. Very sad. :)

What a pain and a half it must be for those guys to eat.

So meanwhile, if Nus Braka is a Klingarite, is Lura Thok a Kling’Hadar? (And is President Rillak a Cardjorman?)

EDIT: Oh, hey: maybe future historians retroactively refer to Spock as a Hucan, and Deanna Troi as either a Betaman or a Huzoid. 😁
