Family Guy: Star Wars Episode VI Grade and Discuss

I've always put the SW trilogy in order of ANH, ROTJ, ESB. I feel the same about the parody, BH, IAT, SSD. I hope they take a long break and come up with some really good jokes for a Star Trek trilogy. Starting with TWOK-TVH. If they do that, I hope they take breaks in between. I see Peter as Kirk, Quagmire as Bones(creepy breast exams) Cleveland as Spock, Cris as Sulu, Lois as Uhura, Joe as Scotty, Stewie would play Khan and the Klingon Comander from 3 and I don't know what else or Chekov, Meg could play one of the whales, maybe Cris's boss could be Chekov IDK?, I think Rodger would definately have a role. Stan could be Sarek? Any thoughts?

I hope they avoid any more spoofs as full length episodes.

They always did better with one-scene stuff and 1/3 of an episode stuff (Stewie & the TNG cast).

Generally speaking they need to put more effort into the show overall as most people think it's losing steam a little.

Thought it was funny enough, though I wouldn't pay the full blu-ray price if I had the decision to make again. There were a few laugh out loud moments and enjoyed the Star Wars parodies on the whole, but in the commentary they say the scroll is pretty much right and it was hard to make it good because so much of Jedi is just copying earlier things in the series so they end up parodying things they already parodied.

That opening scroll was dead on about the episode.

Trekmovie put together their dream cast of Family Guy characters as TWOK characters a few years ago. Check it out here, it's pretty good.

I just finished watching all three after picking up the 3rd one today. I still like the first one the best, but I thought the new one was much funnier than the 2nd. I actually laughed several times. Admiral Ackbar was hilarious, and it was amusing to see Carrie Fisher's character playing Mon Mothma. And I noticed Anne Hathaway's name in the voice credits at the end - who did she play?

Trekmovie put together their dream cast of Family Guy characters as TWOK characters a few years ago. Check it out here, it's pretty good.

It's a good list, a little outdated. Roberta is dead I think. If they did TWOK only the Lois would be perfect for Carol Marcus. I can't believe I forgot about Brian. I guess we all agree Stewie should be Khan and Quagmire should be Bones.

I thought they couldn't get approval from Paramount to do a Star Trek proof and that's why they did Star Wars instead?

This seems to indicate MacFarlane is making some serious plans of doing a Trek parody.
