I'm not sure this one counts. In that episode, both Picard and Data clearly refer to O'Brien as "Colm", suggesting that Meany was not playing O'Brien.

As noted above, they called him "Conn" and indeed I thnk that's what he's listed as in the credits. All Good Things clearly establishes that "Conn" in indeed O'Brien.

Besides, I said Colm Meaney can wear a red shirt and survive, not O'Brien. So whatever he may have been called in Farpoint, my point still stands.

Me too, which is why I'm gonna start watching with the CC on, despite the fact that I'm not deaf.

For example, after reading your replies, I played that scene again with the CC on, and even though the word "Conn" DOES appear onscreen, I still hear "Colm".
