F****** hell, I want to smoke a cigarette

5 weeks in a coma is what it took for me to kick the habit. I regained consciousness totally nicotine free. I don't recommend that method on anyone.

It really is an insidious addiction. I've been smoke-free for a year and a half, but still get hit with almost irresistible cravings from time to time.

I do miss it. I really enjoyed smoking. But I'm glad to be rid of them. The cash savings alone is reason enough to quit.

Chardman, rambling.

I can smoke tons of cigarettes then not feel any craving for them at all when they've run out, and I only get more when friends offer to pay for them. When I've got some I go through them super quickly though!

I'm the same way and I have no idea why. It's been the same with anything I've tried - coffee excluded.

No idea why. I seem to be unable to get addicted to anything.

A friend of mine is like that too, which kind of was annoying for me too, because he always bums cigarettes off me whenever we meet. ;)
For me it always was all or nothing with cigarettes.
