By hostile wishful thinking I mean like people putting down what others want in favour of their preferred pipe dream.

As for your previous post you didnt reply to anything directly and I didnt see anything that prompted it. It would be helpful in future if you quoted a specific example.

I haven't got the first clue how Skydance want to handle Trek, so sticking with the idea that nothing we have heard so far gets green-lighted seems the safest bet.(Probably sanest, too)

Hypothetically, however, I wouldnt throw a fit if any of the pitches led to a series. I can't guarantee I'd like them all, though.

Can we genuinely infer where their intentions lie at this point? It really feels like tumbleweeds.

Same but speculation is par for the course in fan circles so I don't see the harm. Reality will prove a better teacher in terms of Trek's future.
