Interesting. Looks like the faintest hint of a deflector underneath. Not too fond of that nacelle, though. Unless, of course, they're reversed.
But why is the 4-digit registry starting with a "0"?

I can't get to the TrekMovie article right now (database problems) but see the TrekToday article referencing it here. The Kelvin is one of several ships which were stated earlier this year to be appearing in the movie. It's been speculated that the Kelvin may be commanded by Captain Robau (Faran Tahir) or that Kirk's father may serve aboard.I'm confused. What does this have to do with Star Trek???
This version is slightly cropped, I think the smaller version has slightly more on the right side, were there is a second fighter thing. EDIT: or not, actually it just looks weird blown up. I think I see 3 fighters now.
Oh, and: the ship is being attacked by fighters. STAR WARS.![]()
Awesome.
The blue thing is the deflector, the red thing just poking through at the bottom is the nacelle. I think it looks pretty good!

It looks like the edge of the saucer section is canted the opposite angle from what we've had in the past. I wonder if the ship, apparently in battle, is in a roll and we are seeing the ventral side. That's more in keeping with tradion (nacelles above and deflector dish below the saucer).
