Eureka: Final Season (Discussion, spoilers, etc.)

Actually.

If Wen hasn't been outted as a dread criminal to t he larger public... It's possible?

And they need somewhere to stick holly.

Deus ex machina.

Beverly will already be driving Wen around, using existing technology.

Nice to see the Grand Nagus again :)

Also a bit contrieved to have Grace just leave, I know Matrix Henry scared her but still. She stayed around last season when she learned that the Henry was from an alternate timeline and did not know anything about their relationship and marrage.

On a side note, I've been trying to figure out if there was ever supposed to be a real Astraeus mission in the first place. Seems like Wen dreamed the whole thing up as an excuse to abduct the crew. As opposed to some other party coming up with a real Astraeus mission and Wen hijacking it. Which is more likely?

If there was a real mission, shouldn't they be getting back to it?

They have the ship intact so why not? Probably going to drop the plot line.

I get the feeling like they'll somehow work Ed Quinn into the episode when Alison and Jack tie the knot. That seems a very Eureka thing to do.

I'm still surprised that they never found a way to incorporate him back onto the show post-timeline-changes.

Did you catch the nod to Quantum Leap? It was right after Sam, I mean Carter, leapt into Zane body in the shower and Jo comes in and starts getting friendly. He says “Oh, boy!”

Tonight, Episode 5:06 Worst Case Scenario

"Eureka's disaster drill goes awry after someone sabotages the GD computers."

Now, who would do a thing like that??

Stay tuned.

:techman:

Really enjoyed this episode. I'm very curious to see what will become of Holly.

It's not Holly.

It's obviously Senator Wen.

If Holly was there, then they would have detected two personalities in the Matrix.

(I seriously hate that they use that word "Matrix" so freely.)

So are there 10 or 11 episodes this season? I thought that SyFy gave Eureka and extra wrap-up episode after they were formally cancelled several months ago?

^^ They gave them an extra episode, but I don't know what the total is.

I was under the impression that Wen was in a separate, small matrix with only the one room. Zane seemed sure that it was Holly's signature in there and not somebody else's; and wouldn't they be able to know if somebody was remotely on line with their equipment?

I hope this means they are able to resurrect Holly.
