Episode titles shared by multiple franchises

In the course of this discussion, I find it most fascinating when an episode title spans across shows of different genres.

I resisted posting a few of those...for instance, both Sarah Connor Chronicles and Deadwood have an episode called "Complications".

That would have been fine, since the majority of discussion has been centered on sci-fi fantasy topics.

"Walkabout" has been used as titles for episodes of MillenniuM and Lost, both of which star Terry O'Quinn.

Isn't there also a B5 episode called "Walkabout"?

There's an X-Files episode called "Millennium" and a complete series called "Millennium" (okay, perhaps not exactly what the OP asked for).

Some in-franchise title reuses: First Contact (TNG and movie), Serenity (Firefly and movie).

"The End": The X-Files and Red Dwarf

"Comes the Inquisitor" B5 - "The inquisitor" Red Dwarf

And in addition to Angel and Jericho, "Why We Fight" is also the title of an episode of Band of Brothers.

Wait, do miniseries count? :p

Perhaps not, but both sprung from the same creator (Chris Carter).

Also, the X-Files episode is a follow-up to the earlier series.

"Requiem" was also the name of an episode of The West Wing.

And Stargate SG-1 must have at least 50 titles that were ripped off from Star Trek. I remember them left and right, especially in the early seasons.

That's because that X-Files episode attempts to wrap up the loose threads from that series -- and does so very poorly, I might add.

EDIT: Hirogen beat me to it, I see. Curses! Foiled again!

Well, SG-1 was always about tipping its hat to what had come before. Why else do episodes with titles like "2001" and "2010"? :)

Yes.

And no Terry O'Quinn in sight in that one as I recall. ;)

If at all... but that's another discussion.

I seem to remember a film or episode with a similar title to DS9's "What you leave behind" but I can't remember what it was. And googling gives me only a film "What we leave behind" which I'm pretty sure was not it. Anyway, it fits in here.

"Oh, the entire Millennium Group is dead except for one guy we've never heard of before? Instead of investigating this potentially extremely interesting scenario, let's just kill zombies for 45 minutes!" Good going, Carter.

Episode titles likely never to be duplicated:

"Today the Man Who Kills Ants is Coming" - NAKED CITY

"Question: What Became of the White Tortilla?" - SLATTERY'S PEOPLE

"Please Leave the Wreck For Everyone to Enjoy" - LONGSTREET

"The Inchworm's Got No Wings at All" - THE VIRGINIAN

"What's an Ark Without Centaurs?" - THEN CAME BRONSO

Episode titles likely never to be duplicated:

I would add most of the season two episode titles to 'Terminator - The Sarah Connor Chronicles' will most likely not be used on other series or movies -

'Samson & Delilah'
'Automatic for the People'
'The Mousetrap'
'Allison From Palmdale'
'Goodbye To All That'
'The Tower is Tall But the Fall is Short'
'Brothers of Nablus'
'Mr. Ferguson is Ill Today'
'Complications'
'Strange Things Happen at the One Two Point'
'Self Made Man'
'Alpine Fields'
'Earthlings Welcome Here'

Well, I suspect "The Mousetrap" will be used again, especially since it's already the title of a classic Agatha Christie play.

Both "The Twilight Zone" and "The Invaders" series have episodes titled "Valley of the Shadow". And the plots of each involve aliens wiping the memories of recent events from humans at the end.

Just today, I had occasion to check IMDb for info on the Justice League episode "Metamorphosis." I searched by TV episode title, and got a looonnnnggg list of episodes named "Metamorphosis," including Trek, of course, and The Incredible Hulk, unsurprisingly:
1. "Smallville: Metamorphosis (#1.2)" (2001)
2. "Star Trek: Metamorphosis (#2.9)" (1967)
3. "Supernatural: Metamorphosis (#4.4)" (2008)
4. "Stargate SG-1: Metamorphosis (#6.16)" (2003)
5. "Holby City: Metamorphosis (#8.41)" (2006)
6. "Fame: Metamorphosis (#1.1)" (1982)
7. "Gargoyles: Metamorphosis (#2.2)" (1995)
8. "Criss Angel Mindfreak: Metamorphosis (#2.11)" (2006)
9. "H2O: Just Add Water: Metamorphosis (#1.1)" (2006)
10. "The Incredible Hulk: Metamorphosis (#3.1)" (1979)
11. "Family Law: Metamorphosis (#1.17)" (2000)
12. "Robotech: Metamorphosis (#1.76)" (1985)
13. "The Interns: Metamorphosis (#1.17)" (1971)
14. "Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles: Metamorphosis (#1.24)" (1999)
15. "The Defenders: Metamorphosis (#2.24)" (1963)
16. "Superboy: Metamorphosis (#4.20)" (1992)
17. "Poltergeist: The Legacy: Metamorphosis (#3.12)" (1998)

Titles (Partial Matches) (Displaying 9 Results)
1. "The O.C.: The Metamorphosis (#4.4)" (2006)
2. "Justice League: Metamorphosis: Part 1 (#1.22)" (2002)
3. "Justice League: Metamorphosis: Part 2 (#1.23)" (2002)
