Episode IX Speculation and Discussion

Kefir and Endor are probably moons of the same planet, which I suppose was off screen in ROTJ.

Hadn't thought of that. Could be. The planet, according to the novelization was long gone. But apparently that was retconned and now in the new canon there are nine moons including Endor. And perhaps Kef Bir.

Calling it now, he's getting killed - through is that too obvious?

Does this mean there was a third Death Star? Palps has got an obsession with superlasers methinks.

That would be my guess, that's it's either another moon, or at least close enough that the debris ended up landing there.

I like that they are bringing Palpatine back, and I hope that it turns out he's really the mastermind behind everything that's been going it. It would really help to connect all three trilogies together. If this is the case, then I'm wondering how Snoke connects to it all. Could he be another apprentice? Or maybe a host body that he's been hiding out in since RoTJ?

My gut says Palpatine was speaking through Snoke, transmitting his thoughts long-distance. The so-called Supreme Leader was just a meat puppet, an organic, otherwise unthinking, breathing variant of “Oz, The Great & Powerful.” Palpatine’s been in this Sequel Trilogy throughout - hiding in plain view, in a whole new way.

The Death Star was floating directly in an orbit over Endor. How should it end up on another Moon when it exploded? Thats not how gravity works...

It just occurred to me that maybe the reason we never learned anything about Snoke is because his backstory is tied into Palpatine, and they couldn't deal with it without revealing Palpatine was still around in some form.

I'm thinking so.

OH AND SHE IS LIFTING A WHOLE BUNCH OF ROCKS.. LIKE TONS OF THEM, WITHOUT ANY EFFORT .. JUST A SMUG LOOK ON HER FACE.

Caps? Really? I don't mind having a discussion, but when someone actually thinks their point will come across better when using all caps, you loose both my attention and respect.
I know that means nothing to you, I really understand that. But.....still.....really? All caps?? Wow....
