I wouldn't read too much into the logo. It's no different than Doctor Who using the Pertwee Logo.

As someone said, it's the 50th anniversary logo and font. It tells us nothing about the new show. There are no hidden secrets in it. It's likely something whipped up by marketing before lunchtime and was produced by persons who probably actually know less about the new show than we do.

At least it's a nice poster. Worth saving for posterity and hanging in ones NerdCave.

The poster is so generic that I think its just a place holder.
