Anyone know what these are yet?

One Man's Trash is Another Man's Treasure - Writer/producer Alex Kurtzman revealed that his favorite "Trek" secret is a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment from the scene where the Enterprise comes out of warp speed and into a battle above Vulcan. "When they arrive and all the debris is flying at the Enterprise, take a very close look at the debris," he explained, saying a cool Easter egg is in there. "You'll have to watch it on DVD, because it goes by very fast. But take a close look at what's floating in the debris."

and

Getting Geeky - According to writer/producer Roberto Orci, the film is filled with references to classic "Trek" — even in the contemporary-feeling scene where Kirk hits on Uhura. "[Keep a close eye on] the shapes of some of the glassware in the bar," he explained. "And [there are] signs that honor various names in Trek history, throughout the Academy and throughout some of the sets ... the computer screens also have Easter eggs buried in them; in some of the display screens, you'll see tidbits and nods to the past."

Looking at it, I see a tear fall from Spock's eye RIGHT before the camera switches to the viewscreen and we drop out of warp.

That isn't what Kurtzman is talking about, but weird nonetheless.

adm58 I spewed my coffee laughing at your sig.

Looking fwd to the EASTER EGGS REVEALED thread. I suck at finding/seeing that stuff so I want to read all about it.

I swear that, in the scene where Spock is flying the Jellyfish through the Narada's docking bay, I could see the T'Plana Hath from First Contact on one of the docking struts.

Can't be sure, though. Guess I'm gonna have to see it again. :rommie:

I think I see a whataretheycalled? 'star destroyer' Star Wars style in that first glimpse of the debris.

Yeah, I noticed some glasses and a few names around the place :bolian:

A) Was that Doohan's son sitting next to Pegg in the Transporter Alcove when Scotty beams Kirk, Spock, and Pike back to the Enterprise?

B) Is the voice of the Jellyfish computer actress Susan Gibney reprising her role as Dr. Leah Brahms?

Yes

B) Is the voice of the Jellyfish computer actress Susan Gibney reprising her role as Dr. Leah Brahms?

Unknown. But I believe it is actually Majel Roddenberry.

I want to know if when Nurse Chapel answered, it was Majel Roddenberry's voice.

Edit:^Didn't sound like that to me /edit

I'm pretty sure I saw one of those glasses that have a big heavy lump of glass at the bottom (like this one), but I can't seem to find any imagery of it, but there are two Saurian brandy bottles in the bar fight: one on the table Cupcake falls on and -of course- the one Kirk smashes on someone's head...

2nd Edit:

According to IMDb she only did the Enterprise computer:
Majel Barrett, the wife of "Star Trek" creator Gene Roddenberry, has a role in this film as the voice of the Enterprise computer. She completed filming two weeks before her death on December 18 2008.

Gah! Now I am going to have to go watch it again since we have had no definitive answers!

Nice! Thanks for the pics.

I noticed that, too!

I noticed the nameplate "Lenard" in the scene where Kirk faces the tribunal for cheating.

Maybe the ship debris Easter Egg is the R2-D2 mentioned in another thread.

I would rather have Trek easter eggs, but can't frown at Star Wars, either. There were even some Star Wars references in the Enterprise book I just read (Last Full Measure)...describing in detail a ship and alien if they were the Millennium Falcon and Jaba. Star Wars is everywhere I guess.

Can't the just give us a list of them all?

And, of course, the Falcon showed up in First Contact as well. :)

Well I missed that one, too! Where?

I wonder if the Star Wars easter eggs has anything to do with using Lucas's Industrial Light and Magic?

It's very very hard to spot. But it's in the scene where the Enterprise arrives to attack the Borg. (I think when you see the Akira class ship).

You can see it here ...

Yeah, it's either as the 1701-E arrives at the battle or when the cube is destroyed and a Falcon/Corellian freighter is seen in the far background racing from the explosion.
