I doubt we'll see the Fenring's appear in the movie since they don't move the plot forward in a significant way, they are more worldbuilding elements to me in the books and some of the worldbuilding is missing from the first movie ( the movie can't run for 5 hours to get every small detail in them).
Did they appear in more scenes than Feyd's gladiator fight and at the end when Fenring refuses to fight Paul? Can't remember at the moment.
I'm totally against stunt casting. Villeneuve seems to be more about creating a new immersive world and less about fan service stunts so I would not expect it.
Too bad. Imagine if Tom Holland got picked as Feyd! Him and Timothee fighting to the death with Zendaya's Chani looking on...the audience would be on their damn feet screaming![]()
Florence Pugh may soon be touching down in Arrakis.
The Oscar-nominated star of “Little Women” and “Black Widow” is in negotiations to join the cast of “Dune: Part 2
She's a great addition to the cast, she was wonderful as Yelena in Black Widow & Hawkeye.
Variety said:If the deal closes, Pugh will play Princess Irulan Corrino, a royal who becomes romantically entangled with Timothée Chalamet’s Paul Atreides. It’s a critical role, one with the potential to grow if “Dune” stretches deeper into novelist Frank Herbert’s literary canon.
I mean, from the article...
