Dune Part 2 2023 (24, 25, 26...)

However, I don't think Villeneuve is the sort of director who does stunt casting. Also the scene from part 1 where Jessica finds messages left by Margot Fenring were cut so I doubt the Fenrings will feature at all. It was mentioned that the Emperor has "daughters" so I expect to see both Irulan and Wensicia appear in part 2.

I'm totally against stunt casting. Villeneuve seems to be more about creating a new immersive world and less about fan service stunts so I would not expect it.

I'm 50/50 on if we'll see the Fenrings. Might being them in with Feyds introduction.

Edit to add: I bowed out of this thread and many others for quite awhile, apologizes if I'm repeating stuff that's been discussed

I doubt we'll see the Fenring's appear in the movie since they don't move the plot forward in a significant way, they are more worldbuilding elements to me in the books and some of the worldbuilding is missing from the first movie ( the movie can't run for 5 hours to get every small detail in them).

Did they appear in more scenes than Feyd's gladiator fight and at the end when Fenring refuses to fight Paul? Can't remember at the moment.

Lady Fenring leaves the message for Jessica under the leaf in BG code warning her of the traitor but that's the only "appearance" you didn't mention.

Which is unfortunate they'll probably be excluded because Paul and Fenrings "showdown" is the real climax of the novel, not Paul & Feyds, but it's all subtext so very difficult to put to film. Even the miniseries, which included Fenring, completely eliminated it.

Latest round of media has Spice Wars looking better than the initial reveal. I'm still pretty eeeehhhhhh about them taking the early access route. Billion dollar companies using massive IP's going that way is exploitative of consumers and shows little faith in the product, IMO

There's a bunch more articles if you google

She's a great addition to the cast, she was wonderful as Yelena in Black Widow & Hawkeye.

Guess the next step would be to work out who she's likely to play.

My guess would Irulan but that's pretty much a processor of elimination.

Probably a bit young to play Lady Fennring and as we've discussed probably not likely to feature to the small role she plays in the plot.

Other than Harrah who again is largely irrelevant to the larger plot I can't of any other female characters to feature.
