That's interesting. Thanks. I did not know that. It makes sense, really.

The thoughts that went through my head when I followed thel link:
That reminds me, have they said what's going in with Feyd in these movies? Is he just not showing up until pt. 2, or are they merging him and Rabban?Prochnow was good with what he had to work with. If Feyd had been written better, i think Sting would have been up to the task, certainly better than whoever it was that did it for Scifi.

Wow, that's pretty cool, I wonder how much it is.

Holy shit, nope. I can barely justifying spending $20 - $30 on other Art of... books, there is no way I'm spending almost $600 on one.

If it's true that she is barely in the first movie then he is probably just telling people "don't worry the up and coming huge Hollywood megastar will be in vol. II a lot moreTo try and head off this new rumour, yes an Italian news site is quoting Villeneuve as saying Zendaya is the protoganist in the next film (if it gets made). HOWEVER, it's probably a mistranslation/typo. Seriously, this is how the article starts:
"On the Friday of the Republic there is Dune,
highly anticipated film by Denis Villeneuve
(Blade Runner 2049, Arrival) which will be
.presented in Venice
The article obviously talks about the difhcult
processing and the director's decision to
:shoot on location"

English is not their strong suit in general, and they translated this quote twice. Likely he meant "a protoganist" since she is reportedly barely in the first movie.
General rule of thumb: if they don't show you what the price of something is *before* you click the reserve/order button, then you probably can't afford it.The thoughts that went through my head when I followed thel link:

If you can tell/show me what Sandworm you had, I'll 3D print you a new one and send it to you.I'm really hoping for a sandworm that's closer to my price range. I had a 3d printed one but it but it was lost when my house burned down.

If Feyd does appear in Pt. 2, hopefully they'll at least throw in some references to him in Pt. 1, so he doesn't just suddenly pop up out of nowhere. It's been said he's still appearing, but not until part 2. Which doesn't make much sense. Fan theory is they're probably combining him with Rabban since his role has been significantly beefed up, but since there isn't even a finsihed script yet they're not saying that to keep their options open.
I've said this a few times before, but they've got their work cut out for them making us believe Chalamet could beat up Bautista.
OK, I understand.Edit to add:. It's the autographs, it's actually a reasonable price to pay considering them. I'm sure if you went to a con you'd be paying at least the same amount (probably more, and it would have to be a major one, like San Diego or NY, I doubt they'll be appearing at local ones unfortunately), and not getting the fancy book too.

Chalamet vs Bautista would be interesting.

It can be done right. Think of how Faramir talked about his father in The Two Towers (albeit only in the theatrical cut). The viewer sees how important that person is and the kind of an effect that relationship has on Faramir, but we don't meet Denethor until The Return of the King. I think there are other good examples of such a situation and how it was handled right but I'm blanking on them right now.I don't know what would be weirder, having the Baron talk about his beautiful nephew we never see in the movie, or his nephew randomly showing up in the 2nd movie without previously being mentioned. Either way seems awkward to me.

Randomly showing up is far worse.I don't know what would be weirder, having the Baron talk about his beautiful nephew we never see in the movie, or his nephew randomly showing up in the 2nd movie without previously being mentioned. Either way seems awkward to me.
How many YouTube meltdowns were there? It has now been confirmed confirmed that Chani is not THE LEAD in Dune part 2, but the female lead, and Paul is still the main character.
