It has the pace of an episode. The dialogue is spot on.
I like it. There are small things that didn't sound right, like Worf calling Odo "chief" and not constable. I think Odo in the series would address Worf more as "commander" as well ?

This is the first comic I've read with the Kindle 's... comic reader? It made reading issue 1 very cinematic.

^ Yeah, just read issue #2 yesterday, and the characterizations and dialogue/interplay are absolutely spot-on with the TV show. The Tiptons really have a great handle on writing for these characters in this particular setting (about midway or so into Season 6).
The only line in issue 2 that felt slightly off to me was Garak speaking to Worf. "I do not care for your loose and careless accusations, Klingon." Garak is usually "polite" to a fault, and referring to Worf only as Klingon seems slightly out of character.
Everything else was all good. My only other (very minor) gripe is that the art sometimes shows characters in an explosive emotional state that doesn't quite fit with the dialogue or scene. But I assume it's an attempt to break up all the "people standing and talking" shots that the story demands.

I do think Worf is one of the few characters to irritate GARAK back the way Garak irritates others. Worf is so honorable, truthful, and upfront that it must be exhausting just to be around him for our favorite spy.

A bit later than I would have liked, but I managed to squeeze in my review of issue #2 over on Kertrats Productions. Enjoyed it for the most part, with a couple of small qualms. Interested to see how everything links together in issues 3 and 4!

That's sort of what he was in "Necessary Evil," wasn't it? A private citizen that got "hired" to investigate a murder? (Before getting a steady job out of it at the end, that is.)
So pumped that they made this comic explicitly part of the Litverse! I’d love to see more comics/novels crossover in the future.

The Betazoid investigator sent at the end of the last issue mentions the current situation on Betazed, with the Dominion forces building station Sentok Nor in orbit. This is a direct reference to The Battle of Betazed novel, where that was the station Crell Moset was doing his Jem’Hadar experiments on.
