I do envy all that. You'd think the home turf for Trek would be better about this, but I attribute it to reruns being beaten into the ground with how much all these shows used to air in the States. I recall Voyager barely going into its third season and UPN starting the 'Five Flights A Week' schedule, with a rerun showing up every night at 10 or something. I mean, at the time I was a kid and I loved it, but I can see where the repetitious treatment of Trek (which is good for keeping people aware it exists, mind) can become an issue.
DS9 is really mistreated in the States, though. It's a shame, because you've got even the actors commenting on how blatantly more popular it is now than it was in the 90's, and even back then it was popular enough to go for seven seasons and all. But Spike, which has been the most devout station for airing Trek in the past several years, just doesn't air that one anymore and hardly did in the past compared to the other two TNG-era shows.
SyFy bought the rights to Enterprise and it's still pretty faithful on that one, and it (like G4 as well) sprinkles TNG in there all the time, too. I think SyFy should go after DS9, though. Even newer audiences to the franchise must be tuning out of all the TNG showings by now.
