I'm re watching the Disney TV serial/movie "Dr. Syn: The Scarecrow of Romney Marsch". It's nice that when Disney put it on DVD as part of the "Treasures" line-up, they opened up the aspect ratio to a 1.66:1 ratio. It looks really nice being upressed to 1080p, of course it would look even better on Blu-Ray (and if they ever released it on Blu-Ray, hopefully Disney would put the widescreen versions of Walt's intro's on the beginning of the episodes instead of the 4:3 versions).

I loved the TV serial as a kid . . . and jumped on the DVD when it FINALLY came out a few years ago.

Hopefully it will get a Blu-Ray release someday, since, even watching the DVD upressed, it is one of those shows you can tell would really benefit from HD.

But at the same time the series ha a really great story.
