Dr. Strange - Benedict Cumberbatch Cast!

Allegedly the material in the trailers barely scratches the surface of it all, but I certainly am with you with the rather derivative nature of the "fantastical imagery" offered up thus far.
Last week Marvel released a featurette, Universes Within, that showed a bit of the really crazy, Ditkoesque imagery that the trailers seem to been avoiding.

^Odd that when they specifically reference Ditko, they show panels by two different artists (Gene Colan and somebody else I can't name offhand).

I wonder why Tilda Swinton's character wasn't set somewhere in Europe?

IGN has revealed a MASSIVE, but rather unsurprising spoiler.
I didn't realize until just now that the movie is out in the UK, so if you want to avoid spoilers, like the one in the linked article and the coded text below, you'll have to be very careful from now on.
Dormmmmu is in the movie afterall, and his facial capture was performed by Dr. Strange actor Benedict Cumberbatch. The director, Scott Derrickson says in the article that he doesn't know the name of the actor who provided his voice.
