If Texas votes Democrat in the Senate Race, I'm keeping my snow shovel handy for August.
Yeah, they really seem to dislike eachother...And there's a tall fence around the playground. You mean like what Obama repeatedly did with George Bush?
I disagree, Obama came across like a stuffed shirt. His speeches were dreary.
Trump has been in the public eye for at least 30 years. He was a known quantity. The media seemed to love him until he became a viable threat to Hillary's candidacy. The fact that he was elected by the Electoral College made heads explode across the country, but there hasn't been a credible challenge to the results. All that's left is to discredit him by whatever means necessary.
The way I see it, he does and says things to generate a reaction. In one recent bipartisan meeting he said that he'd sign whatever bill Congress sent him. That prompted negative reactions from both sides.
In the last bipartisan meeting about gun control, Trump said that he's for taking the guns first and doing the due process later. That generated a media shitstorm of epic proportions.
That tells me that both sides in Congress were happy with the balance of one side control for a few years, and the other side for a few years, and don't want to do anything that will take them out of their comfort zone.
Media and politicians don't know how to deal with someone who doesn't play their game. They think he's either stupid or crazy.
I think he's crazy like a fox; he watches what people are doing and saying, and dares them to step up and take action.
We'll see.

That is a great photo. If only we all could get 'there'.
